Brompton Academy - Trantec helping future artist flourish

Situated in a small residential village between Chatham and Gillingham, Brompton Academy is the home of one of Kent’s finest school/Academy after a recent redevelopment which saw a complete redesign of the premises and in turn resulted in technology within the school getting a complete upgrade.

Brompton academy places a high importance on Arts and it is one of the academies mini schools for the older learners, this high significance aimed on Arts has prompted Brompton Academy to equip themselves with the very best kit to help students flourish within this area. Therefore, Brompton academy equipped several areas of their school with a brand new wireless system from Trantec.

Firstly, the main theatre hall is the location of a Trantec 12 way S4.4 Racked’n’Ready Wireless System. This hall is the largest within the school and it is mostly used for daily assemblies as well as live productions. The 12 way system ensures that there are enough microphone outputs for the large productions along with several different microphone options; there is a microphone suitable for every performance, from a teacher’s speech to a musical recital.

The schools drama studio is a much smaller room which needed a robust system to withstand the daily usage from students in drama lessons and rehearsals.
