BBM Electronics announced earlier this year that it will close its doors on the 31 st May 2010.  TOA Corporation (UK) Limited will take over the distribution and support of the Trantec brand from 1 st June. 

TOA Corporation is based in Surbiton, Surrey and is fully equipped to continue to offer the high levels of support that Trantec customers have become accustomed to. 

To ensure continuity and make the transition as smooth as possible, TOA have appointed some familiar faces from BBM including Mark Parkhouse.   Mark will continue to be responsible for Sales and Marketing of the Trantec brand and can be contacted by email mark@trantec.co.uk or mobile 07500 787 755, or on the TOA office number from 1 st June. 

All customers who hold a BBM Credit or Pro-Forma account have had their account automatically transferred to TOA (UK), however they will need to sign new terms and conditions which will be sent to them automatically.

Channel 38 available from 4 January 2010

The great news from Ofcom is that a single shared licence will allow radio microphone users to use both Channel 69 and Channel 38 until Channel 69 is finally phased out during 2012

For those of you in regions where Channel 38 will not be available until 2012, Ofcom have allowed temporary access to Channels 39 and 40.

Trantec is currently shipping the S6 in Channel 38 with the S4.16, S5.3 & S5.5 available in the 1st Quarter 2010.
