For
over a decade, BBM Electronics trading
as Trantec Systems has been applauded
for its commitment to creating radio
products that are not only extremely
advanced, but manufactured and designed
in the UK to the highest specifications
– making Trantec synonymous
with a mark of quality.
Trantec was born out
of a passion for RF solutions by Steve Baker,
Dave Binks and Terry Maybe in the early
‘80’s, hence the company name
BBM taking the first initial from their
surnames. As a independently owned organisation,
Trantec flourished providing advanced radio
frequency technology to the music industry
before becoming suppliers of similar equipment
to the broadcast, audio visual and theatre
side of the business, which has now become
a strong part of it’s client base.
Trantec are now owned by Japanese electronics
giant Toa, who seized the opportunity of
owning such a marquee. Their committed investment
programme has promoted Trantec as a distinct,
yet complementary organisation and helped
propel the company into a league of its
own.
Based in south London,
Trantec’s Headquarters houses an efficient
manufacturing plant, administration, Research
and Development team, international sales
department and it’s UK Sales team
which work from various geographical locations
within the UK and service the needs of all
Trantec’s clients.
Our expansive product
range developed in-house caters for the
most challenging contemporary audio demands
particularly within broadcast, film, music
and theatre applications. In addition we
offer a host of products designed specifically
for the leisure industry as well as for
conferencing, education and ecclesiastical
applications.
At Trantec we’re
continually producing products that push
the boundaries of technical achievement.
Our extensive portfolio boasts many “Industry
standards” such as the award winning
S5000, the S3500, S4000 and the S5000 IEM
systems.
Most recently we
have launched our revolutionary S6000 system,
which enhances the very latest computer
technology and audio techniques to bring
an unparallel miniature radio microphone
system to the ever-hungry technology driven
market place. Designed by the same team
as the award-winning S5000, its sister product
has been exclusively developed from the
ground up for theatre and broadcast applications,
building on knowledge from industry professionals
and experience gained over a number of years.
Making its UK debut at ABTT 2003, it took
centre stage winning Product of the Year
Award in the sound category and has recently
added the coveted US award “The EDDY”
for Sound product of 2004.
