RF specialist Trantec is delighted to announce the preview of it’s S5 series UHF wireless microphone system at the Pro Light & Sound Show, Frankfurt 28-31 March 2007.

The S5 series is designed for professional / semi-professional, single and multi-channel applications, including Broadcast, MI, AV, theatre, churches, schools, etc.

With a 35MHz bandwidth the receiver is programmed with multiple banks of intermodulation-free sets of up to 40 frequencies, as well as having the flexibility of tuning to any grid frequency.

The S5 series offers both a handheld and beltpack transmitter alternative. Both are housed in professional quality metal casings and are powered from a single AA cell giving in excess of 10 hours continuous life.

The metal housed 19” ˝ width 1U receiver unit has a rear-lit graphic LCD allowing the user to navigate through the receiver set-up as well as monitor AF and RF. The receiver also benefits from PC monitoring through its USB interface. Transmitter programming is achieved by an infrared data link.

The advanced pilot tone/noise squelch, headphone monitoring and frequency scan option combine to make the S5 a very flexible solution for the most challenging applications. With such high performance capabilities it is a reliable multi-channel solution designed to operate in today’s hostile RF environment.

Priced competitively as a mid-range product, the S5 series features a powerful set of functions normally only seen on top-end equipment; it is a long awaited addition to the Trantec range.

Trantec’s Sales & Marketing Executive, Mark Parkhouse commented:

“The S5 series compliments our existing range perfectly, slotting nicely between the budget S4 Series and the award winning S6000 series. Trantec customers can now look forward to the introduction of a world beating product bristling with innovation and technology “.
