Leading RF specialist, Trantec is delighted to announce that its innovative 4-channel UHF S4.4 mic system has been taken on board by Rocktronic Centres - the largest buying consortium of independent musical equipment retailers in the UK.

Rocktronic Centres comprises over 60 independent MI stores nationwide and is headed up by Ian Barnes. The aim of Rocktronic Centres is to offer a combined buying power that allows more product choice, better deals and ultimately an increased service capacity.

Trantec’s S4.4 was launched last Autumn and is designed and built to Trantec’s signatory high standards. It offers a cost effective and flexible alternative for vocals, presentations and musical instruments.

Plus the system offers four license-free switchable UHF frequencies, which can operate simultaneously.

By virtue of its advanced diversity receiver, it optimizes interference-free reception in the most challenging application environments and features an adjustable squelch function to guard against interference. In addition, its unique dynamics processor ensures a crystal clear and natural sound.

The system is available as a Vocal system, which comprises a hand-held transmitter with a dynamic capsule and a diversity receiver. Delivering a punchy and assertive sound, the capsule is designed to exacting specifications.

The Lapel system is ideal for lecture environments, corporate presentations, and theatre. It comprises a body pack transmitter, and a discreet clip-on microphone that boasts an omni-directional pick up pattern. With the flick of a switch the transmitter can connect to an electric guitar via an especially designed cable that comes as part of the package.

Ian Barnes commented: “ We’re delighted to have added Trantec to our expanding product portfolio. This system not only offers value for money, but is enormously adaptable and does not compromise on quality and performance. Currently 18 of our centres have taken on the S4.4 system and it has been positively received. It is easy to operate straight out of the box and is user friendly. It’s this combination of quality and usability that makes Trantec a superb member of our top-tier line up of brands. “

Trantec’s Sales Executive, Mark Parkhouse commented: " We're delighted to be working with Rocktronics and we’re particularly pleased that the S4.4 has been so well received. It mirrors our impetus at Trantec to design and build products that provide realistic and cost effective solutions for today's multi-channel applications."
