By Underground:
Take the Northern Line to Morden, the southern terminus of the line. From Morden station either take a taxi to Garth Road or cross the road to the bus stop for the number 93 (or 293) running towards Epsom. This bus stops at the end of Garth Road - ask the driver! (The nearest landmarks that the driver will know near Garth Road are the Lord Nelson pub or St. Anthony's Hospice). The bus takes about 5 minutes from Morden station to Garth Road. You will need to walk up Garth Road - we are on the right hand side.

By Train:
There are several stations nearby. The most convenient is South Morden on the Sutton Loop of the Thameslink Line. From this station, either take a taxi or pick up the number 93 bus to Garth Road (see above). The bus stop is on the main road outside the station. Do not cross the main road otherwise you will end up back in Morden!

It may be easier to get a train to Raynes Park on the South West Trains main line out of Waterloo. From here you will have to take a taxi to Garth road. For train times to either South Morden or Raynes Park, try using the timetabler on the Railtrack web site, www.railtrack.co.uk or call the national rail enquiries line on 0845 484950

By Car:
These directions start at junction 8 on the M25. The route is shown on the wide-area map below. From junction 8 on the M25 take the A217 towards Sutton and London. This goes over a series of large roundabouts and junctions. Eventually you will come to a cross roads with the Epsom-Purley road. Go straight on at these lights and just a short distance further on is a roundabout where you must turn left towards London (do not go straight on towards Sutton). The road now goes over several junctions. Eventually you will see a large Tescos superstore on the left. Go past this up the hill to the next junction. Carry on under the railway bridge and up the hill to a large roundabout. This is St. Helier roundabout, shown circled on both maps on ths page.

Take the first exit from the roundabout, Green Lane. Follow this to the end where it swings to the left near a small primary school. You will come to a T-junction where you must turn left down the hill. There is a Harvester restaurant and a park on the right hand side. Carry straight on down the hill then back up the next hill to the junction at the top, by the Woodstock pub. Go straight on at this junction. On the right you will see a T.A. barracks. Garth road is the third turn on the right after this, at the bottom of the hill. Once in Garth Road, we are on the right. The route described above is not the most direct, but it is the easiest to follow. If you are familiar with the area or will have access to a map whilst travelling then there is a short cut you may want to use. Follow the directions as above until the roundabout where you turn left towards London on the A217. Now, at the second set of lights turn left into Gander Green Lane. Follow this road to the end where you will see St. Anthony's Hospice opposite. Turn right down the hill. Garth Road is then the second turning on the left, by the Lord Nelson Pub.
